Do you like Steve Austin?  His early work was a little too ‘new-wave’ for my taste, but when he won King of the Ring in ‘96, I think they he came into his own - both commercially and artistically. His whole repertoire has a clear, crisp feel, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the suplexes a big boost. He’s been compared to Ric Flair, but I think Austin  has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humour. In ‘96, Austin released this, the stunner, his most accomplished move. I think his undisputed masterpiece is ‘Stone Cold’, a name so catchy most people probably don’t listen to the sound - but they should! Because it’s not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it’s also a personal statement about the wrestler himself! Hey Paul!
